What to do after exposure to methylamine？

After skin contact, take off contaminated clothing immediately and rinse thoroughly with plenty of running water. First aid can be used to clean the skin, mucous membranes and mouth with 1-2% acetic acid and 0.5% citric acid.
When the eyes are contaminated, the eyelids should be raised, and the eyes should be washed with flowing water and saline for at least 15 minutes, and then stained with fluorescein. If there is corneal damage, the victim should be asked to see a doctor in the ophthalmology department.
For patients poisoned by inhalation of nitric oxide methylamine gas, they should be quickly removed from the scene with fresh air to keep the airway unobstructed.
